Today I came one step closer to seeing why I truly am the way I am....
After my interview, I stopped to see my parents.
They were interested in my interview & asked what some of the questions were.
One question that stuck out in my mind was this: "Rank these 3 word in order of importance when it comes to discipline (1 being most important): Friendly, Fair, Firm" and explain why.
I asked my dad to rank them.
He came up with: Fair, Firm, Friendly.
I thought it was kind of ironic, because that is how I ranked them.
Then I asked him why......
His response (in sheer honesty) "well, because that puts them in alphabetical order!!!" (as if there were any person in the world crazy enough to NOT alphabetize them!)
Ahhhh............my OCD tendencies are suddenly MUCH clearer.
And, for the record, I did NOT put them in that order because of the alphabet. Although, that would have made for an even greater comparison!
